Final Community Night features Shannon Clarke and the Sugar
Downtown Tipp City's September Community Night will be held on Friday, September 5th. The evening of free music will open with Michael G. Ronstadt at 6 p.m., followed by Shannon Clark and the Sugar at 7:30 p.m. This will be the final performance of the Summer Concert Series, celebrating its 33rd season.
Celloist Michael G. Ronstadt, a graduate of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music and a well-known studio musician, who has appeared on more than 200 albums in the last 20 years, will open the evening. His unique genre-blending styles from classical jazz to Americana will be an experience you won't want to miss.
The popular Shannon Clark and the Sugar Band from rustic Darke County will round out the 2025 Community Night Season. This family band writes and performs their original music, an Americana blend of country, blues, folk, and indie-rock. They released their first full-length album, “Marks on the Wall,” in 2021. Followed by their latest album, “This Old World,” released in September 2023, an album of deep rooted music depicting modern American life through the soulful, relatable experiences of the band members.
Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the evening of fun, including a 50/50 raffle. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be canceled. For more information, call 937-667-3696.
