Body Found at Larch Street Address Identified

Tipp City Police identified a body found Thursday, Oct. 2, as Derek Helmick, 38, of 700 Larch St.

“At this point, we want to assure the public that this appears to be an isolated incident,” a media release sent by the city stated.

Police said the case involves “multiple factors,” requiring a comprehensive evaluation.

An autopsy has been conducted by the Montgomery County Coroners office to help in the investigation.
