Death Investigation launched in Tipp City

An investigation is underway for a person found dead early Thursday Morning in Tipp City.

Here is the statement released by Chief Greg Adkins of the Tipp City Police Department:

“At approximately 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 officers with the Tipp City Police Department responded to a report of a deceased individual in the 700 block of Lark Street. Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and requested the assistance of Tipp City Police Department detectives and crime scene officers.

The Miami County Prosecutor's Office and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation also responded to assist with the ongoing investigation. The deceased will be transported to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office for examination. Notification of the next of kin is currently underway.

This is an active investigation. Additional information will be released to the public as soon as it becomes available.”
