Every pet deserves a second chance, and every family deserves the unconditional love of a loyal companion.
The Tippecanoe Gazette is proud to partner with the Miami County Animal Shelter to introduce two wonderful adoptable animals searching for their forever homes. Since becoming a no-kill shelter in 2019, the Miami County Animal Shelter has remained committed to protecting both animals and the community by reuniting lost pets with their families, caring for homeless animals, enforcing Ohio animal welfare laws, and helping deserving pets find loving homes.
A "no-kill" shelter maintains a save rate of at least 90 percent, ensuring that healthy and treatable animals are given every opportunity to find a family while providing humane care for those with serious medical or behavioral conditions.
If one of this week's featured pets steals your heart, the adoption process is simple. Visit the Miami County Animal Shelter to meet the animals in person, complete an adoption application, and work with the knowledgeable staff to find the perfect match for your home and lifestyle. Adoption fees are $98 for dogs and $45 for cats, with each adoption including vaccinations, health services, and other valuable benefits to help your new companion get the best possible start.
Whether you're looking for a playful puppy, a laid-back senior cat, or a loyal best friend, your next family member may be waiting just around the corner.
