Hoffman Global Methodist Church Annual Fine Arts Show

The 19th Annual Hoffman Global Methodist Church Fine Arts Show was held in West Milton from August 7th to the 9th.

Those in attendance had the opportunity to vote for their top three favorite pieces among the 76 pieces on display.  Tallying those votes resulted in the top three winners: "Covered: 1 John 1:7" by Nanette Brantley Isaac in first place, "Bosum Buddies" by Tom Kinarney in second place, and "Cruisin' Copenhagen" by Terri Bey in third place.

First place prize received $400, second place $300, and third place received $200.  Eleven other pieces received $100 each which include the following: Regina Whipp for "Katel as a Puppy", James Gentry Jr for "Hometown One”, Barbara McVety for "Mountain Seclusion', George Stum for "Looking for Mom", Diana Begley for "Ocean's Memory", Joshua Watts for "Nightlight", Ed Wilson for "Brown Eyes", Lisa Rife for "Be Still", Brenda Rene Mutter for "Guardian of the Sea", Michael Nygren for "15 Against the Wind", and Stephanie House for "Rays of Solitude".

Jim and Tracy Sarver donated the prize money. Plants were provided by The Covered Wagon Farm Market.  The show is provided by the Hoffman Global Methodist Women.  Donations toward expenses are appreciated.  Money left over after expenses will go toward various mission projects.
