Downtown Tipp City is about to become a little more magical this holiday season…and You Are Invited to Help Create It

Every once in a while, an idea comes along that feels bigger than a single event. It begins as a conversation, grows into a vision, and slowly turns into something that has the potential to create lasting memories for an entire community. Over the last several months, the team at the Downtown Tipp City Partnership (DTCP) has been quietly working behind the scenes on an exciting project, and we are finally ready to begin sharing that vision.

Thanks to receiving a very special Impact Award, DTCP has secured funding and resources to create a brand-new holiday experience in downtown Tipp City unlike anything we have done before. This is not simply another seasonal event or a new set of decorations. We are creating an immersive holiday pop-up experience designed to bring people together, create lasting memories, and give families a new reason to spend time in downtown Tipp City during the most magical time of year.

From November 1 through January 1, this special holiday space will come to life in the heart of our downtown, but here is what matters most to us: we do not want to create this for the community. We want to create it with the community.

The best things that happen in Tipp City have always been built by people who care enough to come together and create something meaningful. That is exactly why we are inviting the public to join us for a special community planning meeting on Monday, July 13 at the DTCP office located at 6 South Third Street. To make it accessible for as many people as possible, we will host two opportunities to attend, one at noon and a second meeting at 5:45 p.m.

We are looking for the dreamers, the decorators, the creative minds, the planners, and the people who simply love Christmas and want to be part of creating something unforgettable. Maybe you have ideas for how the space should look. Maybe you enjoy decorating and want to help transform the experience. Maybe you have ideas for events or programming that could happen inside the space. Maybe you are a local business interested in sponsoring part of the project, donating services, or helping fund special experiences. Maybe you simply want to volunteer your time and be part of building something families in this community will remember for years to come.

And if you are simply the kind of person who likes knowing everything happening in downtown Tipp City and you are just a little curious about what DTCP has been secretly planning… we would love to have you there too.

What we are building this holiday season is about so much more than a physical space. It is about creating wonder, bringing families together, giving people a reason to gather downtown, and continuing to build the kind of community experience that makes Tipp City special.

And this exciting new holiday experience is only one part of what promises to be our biggest holiday season yet. Downtown merchants will kick off the season with Yuletides Winter's Gathering on November 13 through 15, followed by the annual DTCP Holiday Parade on November 21, and the DTCP Tippecanoe and Christmas Too Historic Holiday Home Tour during the first weekend of December, with even more experiences still to be announced.

We can promise you this — what is coming to downtown Tipp City this holiday season will be unlike anything we have ever done before.
