Ticket to Dream Scholarship announces Class of 2026 recipients
The Ticket to Dream Scholarship is proud to announce the recipients of its Class of 2026 scholarships.
Among the twelve graduating seniors selected for awards this year are three local students:
Max Gustavson – Tippecanoe High School
Claire Stott – Northwestern High School
Lydia Williams – Vandalia-Butler High School
Founded in 2021, the Ticket to Dream Scholarship has expanded its impact each year through the generosity of donors and community organizations throughout the six-county Miami Valley region. The program remains the area's only scholarship initiative dedicated exclusively to supporting students from single-parent families.
Local support has played a vital role in the scholarship's continued growth. Area benefactors include the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2201, the Tipp City Foundation of the Troy Foundation, the Vandalia-Butler Optimists, and VFW Posts #9582 (Vandalia) and #9966 (New Carlisle).
Since its inception, Ticket to Dream has awarded scholarships to deserving students whose determination, resilience, and academic achievement reflect the strength and character often developed through the unique challenges faced by single-parent families.
The organization continues to grow thanks to community partners who share their belief that every student deserves the opportunity to pursue higher education, regardless of family circumstances.
