Bethel senior wins at state meet

Congratulations to Bethel High School Senior Kade Schweikhardt, who walked away a state champion over the weekend at the State track meet. He ran a personal best time of 1:51:69 in the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Division 3 800m race at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium at The Ohio State University campus.

Schweikhardt is just the third Bethel athlete to win the state competition in a track event.

In just a couple of weeks, Schweikhardt will race again on the national level at the Nike Outdoor Nationals in Eugene, Oregon.

Congratulations to Kade on this remarkable achievement.
