Students present award winning projects to Rotary
Top student researchers from Tipp City Schools presented their award-winning projects to Tipp City Rotarians on Wednesday, May 13th.
This is the 22nd season for the Tippecanoe Science Day Program, and the 21st year that Tipp City Rotary has provided funding to send students to Upper Miami Valley Regional Science Day. This year, Tippecanoe, together with 17 other school districts in the Upper Miami Valley, sent 142 students to the UMV Regional Science Day, held on Saturday, March 14th, at Edison State Community College. Twenty-two of those students were from Tipp City Schools. About $8,000 in awards was distributed.
Sixty students qualified for State Science Day, including 10 from Tipp City. The 2026 State Science Day competition will take place on May 16th. The 2026 State Science Day Scholars from Tippecanoe HS – Aubrey Ernst, Joshitha Kondapalli; from Tippecanoe MS – Emily Riehle, Maximilian Lesher, Lucas McGinnis, Ujval Kondapalli, Adwaith Ega; from L.T. Ball Intermediate – Aisha Nair, Nicole Toon, Graham Dunlap.
