DTCP celebrates community spirit following Moms on Main Event

The Downtown Tipp City Partnership (DTCP) is celebrating the success of another memorable community event following Moms on Main, held on Friday, May 8th, in historic downtown Tipp City.

The free event invited the community to sip, shop, dine, and celebrate moms while enjoying after-hours shopping, pop-up vendors, DORA drinks, free MOMosas and treats, shoulder massages, yoga, giveaways, and special experiences throughout downtown.

A heartfelt thank you goes to the downtown merchants, restaurants, vendors, and community businesses that helped create such a welcoming and memorable experience for guests throughout the evening. From shopping and dining to treats, activities, giveaways, and pop-up experiences, each stop added something special to the night and helped bring downtown to life.

DTCP would also like to extend a special thank you to The Yoga Barre & Co. for opening their studio and offering a free community yoga class during the event. Experiences like these helped make the evening feel unique, interactive, and community-centered.

Participating businesses and vendors included Fox and Feather Trading Co., Living Simply Soap, Harrison’s Restaurant, Thunder Forge Gaming, The Yoga Barre & Co., Seven Sisters Apothecary & Art, Zach Snyder Flooring & Design, Midwest Memories Antiques, Coldwater Cafe, Bodega Market, The Hotel Gallery, Always Blooming, Topsy Turvy Toys, AeCha Cafe, Rad Candy Company, The August Rose Jewelry, BS Customs, Baking in Sunshine, Uplifted Candle Co., Addi’s Bake Shop, and Cajun Bell’s Beauty.

One of the highlights of the evening was the community giveaway featuring a Blackstone gas griddle or a KitchenAid mixer.

Recently, giveaway winner Courtney Dersch stopped downtown to claim her prize. During her visit, she shared that a family in Bellefontaine had recently lost everything in a house fire. Instead of keeping the Blackstone griddle for herself, Courtney chose to donate it to the family as they work to rebuild their lives.

“That moment really captured what this event was all about,” said Kelly Downing, Event Coordinator for the Downtown Tipp City Partnership. “Moms on Main celebrated community, kindness, and the women who give so much to others every day. Courtney’s generosity reminded us how powerful community support can be.”

The Downtown Tipp City Partnership also extends appreciation to 2026 Community Sponsors Mauk Cabinets by Design and Main Street Financial Group Thrivent for helping make events like Moms on Main possible.
