Milton-Union Athletics, updates you need to know
As the winter sports season comes to a close and the Bulldog athletes transition into spring athletics, there are ends to tie up and new chapters starting!
On March 9, Three Rivers Conference First Team athletes Eli Deeter, Levi Brumbaugh, Addi Case, and Michaela Firks all attended the winter banquet. They received their awards for athletic performance during their respective seasons.
More accolades include freshman Layla Fulton being selected to play in the Freshman Underclassmen All-Star basketball game, as well as Case and Firks being selected to play in the Junior All-Star basketball game.
Milton-Union is also welcoming a new head volleyball coach, Brooke Gray. Gray will bring more than 10 years of coaching experience, including school and club levels. Currently, she serves as the 15U head coach and 17U assistant coach at Western Buckeye Volleyball Club, and also serves as the club's co-director.
In 2025, she was recognized as Coach of the Week for her “outstanding leadership and dedication to the sport,” Milton-Union Athletics said.
Alongside coaching, she will join the school district as a middle school intervention specialist.
The high school softball team hosted a clinic for grades kindergarten through eighth. The clinic consisted of two Sundays filled with learning the fundamentals of the game, as well as offensive and defensive play.
The softball team also released their schedule. They will play 15 away games and host seven home games.
Also releasing their schedule was the football team, who will play in five away games and five home games.
The spring seasons are officially underway for the Bulldog athletes!
