No Goodwill

Story Update

In the February 11 edition of the Tippecanoe Gazette, a front-page story announced that Chipotle and Goodwill would be coming to Tipp City.

After the story was published on our website and Facebook page, we began receiving several phone calls and emails seeking clarification on Goodwill's status. The parent company emailed that they are not considering a location in Tipp City at this time.

The following statement was issued:

"While a project was being considered in Tipp City, it did not go past the due diligence phase. We look forward to bringing a retail store and/or program services to the area in the future, should the opportunity arise." - Amber Hargett, PR Manager, Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley (GESMV)

We reached out to the city for comments and received the following from Community Development Director Matt Spring: "We were informed on Tuesday, February 10th, that Goodwill will not be moving forward with their project in Tipp City."
