Tipp City Lights winners announced

Christmas Lights Driving Tour and Contest

Tipp Monroe Community Services announced the winners of its annual holiday lights contest, Tipp City Lights, celebrating festive displays throughout Tipp City and Monroe Township.

The contest ran from Dec. 6 through Dec. 20, with the Christmas lights driving tour continuing through Dec. 25. Registration was completed online, and all participating homes were included on an official map created by TMCS. Maps were available on the organization’s website and in print. Community members were encouraged to tour the displays and vote for their favorites by text, phone or paper ballot.

Thirty homes participated in the contest this year. Winners of the 2025 Tipp City Lights contest are the Personett family of 100 Wisteria Drive, first place; the McAllister family of 775 Rosecrest Road, second place; and the Yahne family of 724 Hathaway Trail, third place.

“Tipp City Lights is all about bringing neighbors together during the holiday season,” said program coordinator Denise Gross. “The displays created a fun reason for families to get out, explore the community and share in the joy of the season.”

Approximately 100 votes were cast during the two-week event. Contest winners were recognized with a yard sign and a photo posted on Facebook. TMCS plans to continue Tipp City Lights as an annual community tradition.

In December, a drawing was held among all participants for a gift basket valued at more than $200. The Zerkle family was selected as the winner.

Tipp Monroe Community Services is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to identifying and filling the needs of Tipp City and Monroe Township residents. TMCS provides recreational, educational, cultural and social service programs. More information is available at tmcomservices.org.
