Lunch on Us Completes Another Successful Year

Renee Johnson, head of the Lunch on Us program, spoke to the Tipp-Monroe Optimists on Saturday, August 16th , and gave the details of the just-completed 15th year of the summer lunch program.  With the help of volunteers who put in over 500 hours of preparing lunches, Renee and her helpers were able to distribute thousands of meals.  Optimist treasurer Gary Spangler (left) presented Renee with a check for $500 to use toward next summer's lunch program.
