Tipp City Manager’s Weekly Update

Industrial Sanitary Sewer Project- Work is now focused in the intersection of SR 571 and County Road 25A. To complete this phase, the intersection was fully closed this week, with detours in place in all directions. We anticipate this portion of the project will take approximately three more weeks. Once finished, the contractor will proceed north along County Road 25A on the east side of the roadway. We recognize this has been an inconvenience and sincerely appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as we work to complete this critical infrastructure upgrade.

Aquatic Center Update- With the recent stretch of hot weather, attendance at the Aquatic Center has increased significantly after a cool and rainy start to the month. Year-to-date revenue remains slightly below last year’s figures at this time, but we are hopeful that continued warm weather will help close that gap

Pickleball Project- Construction is underway on the eight new pickleball courts in Kyle Park. Work has started smoothly, and we anticipate completion by late summer or early fall. This addition will be a great asset to our park system and active community.

American 250- As part of the 2026 celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the State of Ohio is developing a driving trail highlighting waterways that have shaped the state’s history. Tipp City submitted Canal Lock Park as a proposed stop and was officially selected this week. Special thanks to Janice Bates for submitting the application and assisting in the planning of local commemorative events.

4th of July- Tipp City’s annual 4th of July Fireworks & Food Trucks event will take place on Friday, July 4th at Kyle Park (500 S. First Street). Food trucks will begin serving at 7:00 p.m., and fireworks will begin at 10:00 p.m. This year’s celebration will feature 14 food trucks and is sure to be a fantastic evening for the whole community. We encourage all residents to join us for this festive occasion!

My Tipp City Mobile Application- We continue to encourage residents to download the My Tipp City Mobile App as a convenient way to receive real-time alerts and updates about City services and issues.

However, we understand that some residents may prefer not to download another mobile application. If that’s the case, you can still stay informed by signing up to receive these notifications via email.
