Free, Family Fun in the Heart of Tipp City

Summer in Tipp City just hits different. There’s something about the way neighbors wave from porches, how kids run down Main Street with snow cones in hand, and how the whole town seems to show up when there’s something fun going on downtown. We’re lucky to have two completely free community events coming up that are all about bringing people together, and we hope you’ll join us.

Monroe Federal’s 150-Year Anniversary Block Party Location: Downtown Tipp City Date: Saturday, July 19, 12 to 8 p.m.

This one is for the whole family. Think of old-school summer fun with food trucks, face painting, bounce houses, family friendly games in businesses, balloon animals, pony rides, and even a dunk tank. But it’s not just the classics. This year’s party also brings some exciting extras like a Touch-a-Truck zone and a zipline right down 4th Street. There’s music bingo in the afternoon, live music in the evening, a beer garden for the grown-ups, and big raffle prizes to close out the night. It’s going to be one unforgettable day downtown.

Putterpalooza Presented by the Troy Country Club Location: Downtown Tipp City Date: Friday, August 1, 5 to 8 p.m.

We’re turning downtown into a mini golf course. Putterpalooza is a newly reimagined event where families, date nights, and friend groups can wander through town playing one-of-a-kind putting challenges created by local businesses and friends of downtown. It’s free to play, but please register online between July 21 and 31. Those who register during that time will also enjoy a slice of pizza and a Kona Ice during the event. Tipp City Schools will have a booth with water, school supplies, and a game of their own, and we’ll have raffle baskets and other surprises waiting too.
