Gray pleads not guilty to 18 felony counts
A Tipp City man pleaded not guilty last week to 18 felony counts of pandering sexually oriented involving a minor or impaired person.
Codi Gray, 35, was indicted in May by a Miami County Grand Jury on the charges alleging possession of materials between 2023 through 2025. He pleaded not guilty in Common Pleas Court where his bail was set at $50,000. If Gray should post bail, Judge Stacy Wall ordered him to have no unsupervised contact with minor children and to have no access to websites primarily related to children.
A Tipp City Police Department report stated that charges were sought after police received a report of possible child sexual abuse material. Materials on a seized phone allegedly belonging to Gray contained photos of sexual activity involving adults and children, police said. The videos of adults with children included both male and female juveniles.
A search warrant was executed at the residence where Gray was staying in early April, police said. They wrote that Gray said all videos they found had been sent to him by others, not made by him.
