Community Night Kickoff May 30

 The first ‘Community Night’ concert of the 2025 season, normally held on the first Friday in June, will be held one week earlier on Friday, May 30th. The summer music series in its 33rd year is a downtown tradition in Tipp City. Kicking off the evening of free music will be guitar soloist Jeff Rearick at 6 p.m. followed by The Hathaways at 7:30 p.m.

The opening act features solo artist Jeff Rearick on guitar playing classic rock and folk from the 60's and 70's. He is a former member of the Lemon Pipers Ram Jam and has been playing music for a living most of his life.

The Hathaways are a 4-piece Dayton based band that specializes in playing a wide variety of classic rock music, mostly 60's, 70's and 80's. The popularity of The Hathaways is widespread due to actively performing the Dayton area bar scene and festival arena for many years. Band members include Tom Baer (drums, vocals), Tom Dempsey (base, vocals), Barry Drake (lead guitar, vocals), and Tipp Citian Sammy Davis (keyboards, vocals).
