MVCTC FHA attend 98th National FFA Convention

The Milton-Union MVCTC FFA chapter attended the 98th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, IN last week. The members toured MVP Dairy, Quiet Harmony Ranch, and The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. They also visited Kelsay Farms during the Buckeye Bash. During the general convention sessions, they heard from the National FFA Officer Team and A’ric Jackson, the keynote Speaker. They also attended the inspiring retiring address of Luke Jennings, National FFA Secretary and Ohio native. The FFA members also spend time exploring the expo.  They were able to network with agribusinesses and colleges from all over the country to start preparing for life after high school. The convention trip ended with the American FFA Degree session, where 2024 graduate Jennfier Riquelme was awarded the American FFA Degree. This degree is the highest FFA degree a member can earn and less than 1% of members achieve this goal.  Attendees pictured are Kaylie Shortridge, Addi Willis, Rilynn Coblentz, Lizzy Sowers, Gavin Rex, Riley Kent, and Luke Jones.
