Girls Golf are Back-to-Back Champions
As the season winds down for our boys and girls golf team, they have competed in conference and sectional play. The girls golf team earned themselves a title of back-to-back conference champions!
On Sept. 18, The girls secured their second straight Three Rivers Conference (TRC) league title at Cherokee Hills Golf Course. They shot a 403, which allowed them to beat Bethel by six shots. The team was led by Addi Case with an 84. Evie Dehus shot a 91, Scarlet Crowe a 101 and Hadley Galentine a 127.
They completed their regular season with a record of 14-1 and a league record. Case placed second in the tournament and overall in the league and Dehus was third in the tournament and overall in the league. This means both of them earned First Team All-Conference honors! Crowe and Galentine were each named Honorable Mention!
And on the boys side of the TRC tournament, the team placed sixth overall with a team total score of 361. William Coate led the team as he shot an 86. Coate earned himself Second Team All-Conference and Hunter Fraley was named an Honorable Mention.
Both the boys and girls teams have also competed in the Sectional Tournament on Sept. 22 and the 23.
The girls team finished third and has qualified for the District Tournament. Case placed third shooting an 88, Dehus fourth shooting a 90, Crowe 19th shooting a 104 and Galentine 52nd shooting a 125.
