West Milton Fire Company assists with Indiana flooding
On Wednesday, August 12, the West Milton firefighters were requested for mutual aid in Richmond, Indiana, near Hagerstown, to assist with flooding in the area. Five members with Utility 71 and Boat 71 responded. They assisted in the removal of three citizens from floodwaters, including one who had been trapped on top of his submerged vehicle for over an hour.
In times of need, the West Milton Fire Company continues to be prepared for situations that arise near and far.
