2026 CINCINNATI OPEN
Founded in 1899, the Cincinnati Open is the second-oldest tournament in the United States, behind only the US Open, and longest running tournament in the U.S. still held in its city of origin. 2026 will mark its 127th year. Here are some interesting facts about the tournament and venue. The Cincinnati Open kicks of Saturday, August 8 with their Community Weekend, with Qualifiers starting on Tuesday, August 11 and running through the finals on Sunday, August 24.
OVERVIEW
• 324 matches scheduled to take place Aug. 11-23.
• Each singles field includes 96 players, plus 32-team doubles draws and qualifying fields of 48 players.
• Aug. 11-12 qualifying event followed by main draw from Aug. 13-23.
• Wed, Aug. 19 will feature all men’s and women’s round of 16 matches.
• Fans can see players up close during practice across Community Weekend, Aug. 10 and all tournament long; practice schedules are posted daily on CincinnatiOpen.com and Cincinnati Open app.
• In 2025, the 40-acre park-like venue hosted 285,000 fans from 65 countries and all 50 states (55% of attendees traveled to the tournament from outside the area).
BOOKEND WEEKENDS
• Community Weekend on Aug. 8-9 features Kids Day, All Access Sunday, Red Bull BassLine, inaugural Cincinnati Open 5K presented by Buckeye Running Company and more.
o Kids Day (Saturday, Aug. 8) will include on-court opportunities, princesses and superheroes, autograph sessions and family friendly experiences.
o Red Bull BassLine is tennis like you've never experienced before. Watch six of the world’s best playing against each other in a quick-fire tournament to the beat of a live, on-court DJ. Tickets for Red Bull BassLine also grant you access to the grounds all
day on Saturday.
• Finals Weekend, presented by Credit One, on Aug. 22-23 will feature an elevated fan experience with special performances and exclusive merchandise, and both men's and women's singles finals on Sunday, Aug. 23.
o Performances include Season 1 winner of The Voice, Javier Colon, and Mason native and American Idol contestant Michael Williams.
VENUE
• $260 million campus transformation in 2025 doubled venue to 40 acres, adding courts and
spaces.
• 31 courts include five stadiums (P&G Center Court seats 12,000, Grandstand seats 5,500,
Stadium 3 seats 4,000, Champions Court seats 2,300 and Court 10 seats 2,000) and plus two
banks of practice courts, one with 10, a second with eight.
• 56,000 square-foot Clubhouse includes two-story player center with restaurant, indoor and
outdoor lounges and adjacent warm-up lawn.
• The Commons east of Center Court has additional shade, seating and landscaping to enjoy
refreshments from the adjacent 13 restaurants and Sun Cruiser Bar.
• The Pavilion is a permanent shade structure in the heart of campus with Adirondack chairs
and big screen for match viewing alongside activations from tournament partners.
• Kroger Indoor Fan Zone features a stage for daily live shows, Wilson racquet stringing and
Courtside Shop, live music and activities.
• Prasco Kids Zone for family-friendly activities including mini courts, speed serve, rally
challenge, coloring wall.
• Multiple stages will host 80 musical acts, player and legend Q&As and more live

VAPTR - A FASTER WAY TO DRY COURTS
• VAPTR removes up to 95 percent of water with one pass without the use of electricity, gas or
batteries.
• With the use of two VAPTRs, a court can be dried in 10-15 minutes.
TECHNOLOGY
• Electronic line-calling system Hawk-Eye uses multiple cameras positioned around the court to
track a ball's trajectory and determine whether it lands in or out.
• Venue lights up with 101 video displays covering 9,217 square feet with more than 44 million
pixels.
• Other tech highlights include climate-controlled courtside seats, 250 WiFi access points, and
video review to help officials judge double bounces and net touches.
