New Wright-Patt Credit Union Location in Tipp City

Wright-Patt Credit Union® Celebrates Grand Opening of New Member Center in Tipp City

A new Wright-Patt Credit Union Member Center is open in Tipp City. The credit union held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 23, 2026, to celebrate the location’s grand opening. The ceremony was attended by Representative Jonathan Newman, state representative for District 80, staff from Congressman Mike Carey’s office, local leaders, and members of the media.

Rep. Newman presented a Statehouse commendation recognizing the credit union prior to the ribbon-cutting. “This commendation is presented on behalf of the 136th General Assembly. This is given in recognition of organizations and individuals across the state of Ohio who are doing great things for our communities and our state,” explained Rep. Newman during the ceremony. “I want to present this to you not only in recognition of this grand opening but of 90 years of outstanding work.”

“Our members have been asking for this location to open for a long time, and we’ve been listening,” commented Tim Mislansky, President and CEO of WPCU. “The new location will make life a little easier for more than 12,000 members in the area, plus it will give even more people in the region the opportunity to experience the benefits of working with WPCU – benefits that go beyond banking.”

The 2025 Benefits of Membership Report from America’s Credit Unions (ACU) – an analysis that compares credit unions’ rates and fees to those at banks in the state - estimates that WPCU provided over $188 million in direct financial benefits to its members in 2025. These benefits are equivalent to $750 per member household. WPCU’s new Tipp City location makes it more convenient and accessible for residents to interact with the credit union and take advantage of benefits that go beyond banking.

“In this digital age, sometimes I’m asked why we continue to build brick-and-mortar locations,” elaborated Mislansky. “The answer is – we are a people-based organization. Yes, people want the convenience of technology, but when they need help with something big, like buying a house or planning for retirement, they want to sit down with someone who cares. And that’s why we’re here.”

The Tipp City Member Center is located at 1282 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45317. Anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Tipp City, Miami County, or 22 other counties in Southwest and Central Ohio is eligible to become a member of the credit union.

This member center is the most recent step in the credit union’s expansion efforts in Southwest and Central Ohio. Ground is expected to be broken at the next new location in Whitehall on June 29, 2026.
