LIGHTS, CAMERA…BID!

TMCS Purse Auction Draws Crowd for Annual Fundraiser

Tipp Monroe Community Services (TMCS) hosted its annual Purse Auction and Luncheon on March 14, bringing the community together for a day of fundraising and film-inspired fun with this year’s theme, Camera, Lights…Bid!

The event, held in conjunction with Ohio Goes to the Movies™ (OGTTM), featured 19 creatively decorated tables embracing the movie theme. Guests enjoyed a lively atmosphere filled with cinematic flair while supporting a meaningful cause.

Auctioneers Galen Gingerich and Bret Hudson entertained the crowd throughout the afternoon, keeping energy high as 53 purses were sold during the live auction. An additional 33 purses were sold in the silent auction, offering attendees even more opportunities to bid on designer items and unique finds.

In addition to the auctions, guests participated in raffles, door prizes, and boutique shopping, making the event both festive and successful. Proceeds from the fundraiser support TMCS’s Lunch On Us program, which provides free summer meals to local children.

The Purse Auction and Luncheon remain a key fundraiser for TMCS, helping ensure the continuation of essential community services. Organizers expressed appreciation to attendees, donors, volunteers, and sponsors whose support made the event possible.
