Giving Back to Those Who Give So Much

The Sabec Memorial VFW Post 9582 is proud to donate $5,000 to Family Abuse Shelter of Miami Valley and Brave Breed Dog Rescue. 

On Saturday, January 17, The Sabec Memorial VFW Post 9582 donated $5,000 to the Family Abuse Shelter of Miami Valley to support their vital mission of protecting and assisting individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.

This organization provides safety, advocacy, and hope when it is needed most, and we are honored to stand beside them in support of our community. Giving back is at the heart of who we are—not just veterans, but neighbors helping neighbors.

The Family Abuse Shelter of Miami County helps everyone regardless of gender, age, national origin, gender identity or expression, faith, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or income.  They serve both survivors of domestic violence, homeless individuals, and families no matter the situation or hardship.

On Sunday, January 18 The Sabec Memorial VFW Post 9582 also donated to the Brave Breed Dog Rescue.   This incredible organization works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need, giving them a second chance at the life they deserve. Supporting causes like this is part of who we are—serving our community goes beyond our walls.
