Josie Birdsong: Jesus Boots and Bling

Part 2

The sixteen-year-old singer from Tipp City, Joise Birdsong, has accomplished several musical achievements in her short time as a country singer and songwriter. However, her platform, fans, and experience continue to grow.

Josie took her first trip to Nashville, Tennessee, a few short years ago in 2023. Since that trip, Birdsong has done nothing but look forward to her future. That being said, Josie is still a regular sixteen-year-old with teenage responsibilities.

Josie not only juggles school and friendships, but her music career as well. She says, “Basically, my everyday life is doing online school and then writing and playing guitar.” When talking about her friends, Josie mentioned the difference between lifestyles. While her friends are playing sports, attending dances, and other teenage activities, Josie is focused on moving forward in her career, performing in shows, and making business decisions.

Although becoming an artist has changed Joise’s life and encouraged her to make adult decisions, she still values her friendships, which have remained strong even as she transitions into her new, dazzling lifestyle. Birdsong still shares similar goals with her peers, and much like her music, they’re rooted in Nashville.

Joise’s current excitement comes from her distribution deal with CDX Records. Although it was a big jump from on stage to in the studio, Birdsong expressed that she wasn't nervous to record, she felt she was prepared, and excited for her fans to hear new music in a more professional way. Josie will definitely continue to record music, and has goals of tours, sold-out arenas, and record deals. However, not all of Josie’s future plans are exclusive to recording. Instead, the bright young artist plans to attend Belmont University to further her musical talents, as well as major in business.

In the past few years, Josie Birsong’s life has changed in many different ways. From a small-town theatre stage to singing as an opener for a popular artist, her faith, goals, and aspirations have stayed true and close to her heart. Her recent recording in Nashville marked a significant step forward for Josie’s music career, and her new music is set to be released early next year. Josie’s supporters are what help fuel her opportunities, and those who want to help Josie reach her goals of being a star, or are newfound fans, can purchase her merchandise, listen to her tunes, and more at j osiebirdsong.com.

Tipp City is excited to watch their homegrown girl, Joise, on her rise to fame, and the community and Josie’s fans are thrilled to support her, her love for Jesus, boots, and bling.
