Bold adventure for seniors
On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Otterbein SeniorLife Tipp City provided an exciting hot air balloon event for forty-five (45) residents.
One of Otterbein’s key pillars is to provide Seniors with extraordinary opportunities. As Ronda Hershberger, Director Sales and Marketing at Otterbein Senior Life Tipp City explains: "We believe life is an adventure, and age doesn’t deter us from following our dreams and passions. That’s why Otterbein plans unique activities throughout the year at each campus."
Otterbein Tipp City participants included individuals from its skilled nursing health center and independent living cottages, as well as individuals from the Marigold House – the campus’s multi-residential home. Liftoff in the brightly colored tethered balloon occurred in a large grassy area between the campus pond and the health care center. Residents enjoyed a gorgeous sunrise and a birds-eye view of the beautiful campus.
