Girls Golf Begins their Fall Season

Coming off their previous season where they were Three Rivers Conference champions for the first time in school history, the girls golf team opened up their 2025 season at the Covington Invitational. 

They finished in sixth place overall out of 16 teams. The team shot an 18-hole school record of 401. This is a 47 shot improvement from the same tournament last year.  The ‘dogs were led by senior Evie Dehus with an 82. This placed her fourth overall out of 89 golfers. Junior Addi Case carded a 94, and following her was Scarlet Crowe with a 98 and Hadley Galentine with a 127. Galentine recorded a new personal best. 

The team then went on to compete at the Lady Pirate Invitational at Cherokee Hills in Bellfontaine. At this invitational, they placed fourth out of 14 teams. The day was completed with a team score of 407. Case led for the lady ‘dogs with an 84. She was followed by Dehus who shot an 86, Crowe with a 109 and Galentine with a 128. 

Next up for the team will have been their first league matchup of the season. They competed against Riverside on Friday, August 8 at Homestead Golf Course.

So far, the team is proving that they are ready for this season and are aiming to become conference champions once again!
