Community Minded Women award scholarships
Community Minded Women recently awarded two $1000 scholarships to 2025 Tippecanoe High School graduating seniors, Genevieve Kinsman and Myah Trost.
Genevieve Kinsman is the daughter of Joseph and Lisa Kinsman of Tipp City. While at Tippecanoe High School, Genevieve was a four-year member of the volleyball team and a four-year coach at Kids Volleyball Camp. Other activities included Octagon Club, Hope Squad, Freshman orientation leader, published author in the Inferno book, and a Hug the Earth Festival volunteer. She is a summer volunteer as a Wayfinder and Scrub Camp volunteer at Dayton Children's Hospital. Genevieve has chosen to attend the University of Cincinnati to major in Nursing (toward her ultimate goal of becoming a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner).
Myah Trost is the daughter of Tim and Emily Trost of Tipp City. While at Tippecanoe High School, Myah was a member of the soccer team (three years), the Lacrosse team (one year), and kept the wrestling stats all four years. Other activities included Octagon Club, Freshman orientation leader, Yearbook staff, and FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) leader. Myah has chosen to attend the University of Cincinnati and major in Health Sciences.
