Milton-Union Class of 2025 Commencement

The Class of 2025 was honored at Milton-Union’s annual commencement ceremony on the evening of Friday, May 23.

Speeches were given by valedictorian Joseph Hastings, salutatorian Jenna Brumbaugh and class officers Nathan Sharp, Tyla Johns, Ava Forrest, and Levi Tracy.

As for the class's future plans, we will begin with Hastings. He will attend Wright State University to obtain a degree in mechanical engineering.

Brumbaugh plans to attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University to pursue a career in the medical field. She has also committed to their basketball program with an athletic scholarship.

Future plans for the class officers include Johns, who plans to attend Wright State University to obtain a degree in education and become an elementary teacher.

Tracy will be attending Waynesburg University to obtain his degree in computer science and mathematics toward a career as a computational mathematician. He will also be on the track team and received the Ohio Honor’s Scholarship with full tuition.

Forrest will be attending The Ohio State University to obtain her degree in sports marketing/management. She received a scholarship from the College of Education and Human Ecology.

Sharp will attend the University of Dayton to obtain a degree as a marketing director in the entertainment industry.

We will now cover the rest of the graduating class, who shared what they plan to do with their futures.

Tessa Fuller plans to attend Cedarville University for psychology and social work, and Justin Brown plans to attend the University of Maryland to obtain his degree in cell biology and genetics. He was also awarded the Presidential Scholarship, and Jacob Grube plans to attend the University of Cincinnati to obtain his degree in chemical engineering.

Elizabeth Caillouet will enter the work force to become a florist with Patterson Flowers, Eli Morphew plans to attend Sinclair Community College, and Kayla Evans will be serving her country by joining the United States Air Force.

Devin Wooddell will be attending Ohio University on a career path that will lead him to be a cargo pilot, Chloe Pfister will enter employment through UA Local 776 Pipefitter Union, and Madelyn Crowe will attend the Sinclair/University of Dayton academy with plans to study dietetics. She was awarded a Merit Scholarship as well.

Tyler Combs will be attending Wright State University for pre-med. He then plans to attend medical school to follow a career as a cardiologist. Bailey Johnson will also attend Wright State University to pursue a degree in elementary education, and Danielle Brazie plans to attend Sinclair for two years and will also be employed at a body shop.

Kassie Crabtree will be employed with a local salon as a licensed cosmetologist, and then she will attend the University of Toledo to earn her master's in speech language pathology. Guinevere Furlong will attend Hawaii Pacific University to obtain her degree as a marine biologist. She also received a Provost Scholarship. Liam Hartley will attend the University of Alabama to major in aerospace engineering and has an acceptance letter into their honors college. He also received a Saturn V Merit Scholarship.

Simon Zank will join the workforce with Helman’s Auto Body Shop, and Ginger Ryan will attend Miami University for performing arts with a minor in fashion design and art. Carson Lavy will be entering the work force and will be employed with Legacy Overhead Garage Door.

Wyatt Kimmel will attend Schoolcraft College to obtain his associate's degree in business management. He committed to their baseball program with an athletic scholarship and will transfer to obtain his bachelor’s degree in sports management. Raymond Kline will start trade school at Hobart Welding, and Nash Fulker will be taking a gap year after graduation and then plans to attend Ball State University to major in music and sound design.

Tessa Perkins will attend Edison State Community College to obtain a degree in social services, Logan Downs will be taking a gap year, and then will attend Hocking Tech to obtain a degree in music production. Daniel Baker will be attending Edison State Community College to pursue a career as a paramedic.

Logan Keys will be attending Wright State University to earn his degree in business. He received the Green and Gold Scholarship. Payton Mayfield will attend Indiana Wesleyan University for a business management degree. He also received an athletic scholarship for the track program. Lucas Fairchild will start his employment with GE Aerospace in the position of a welder.

Ian Coffey plans to resume working at Western Ohio Fence Company and wants to follow a career in welding, Alexis Neff plans to attend cosmetology school to be a makeup artist, and Zella Younce plans to attend Sinclair Community College for theatre performance. She will continue her education to pursue a four-year degree in performance arts.

William Johns will be attending Miami University to obtain a degree as a physical therapist, Braden Brown plans to continue employment with Projects Unlimited, and Robert Egner plans to attend college for computer science.

Laura Williams will attend the University of Dayton to obtain a degree in theatre and dance. She was also awarded a Merit Scholarship. Maddyson Morgan plans to attend Sinclair Community College to pursue a degree in mental health services, and Brindin Carr will be entering the workforce and has plans to travel.

Greg Swabb will be continuing his work with Millniphec, LLC., Meg Ryerson will be attending Grace College as a marketing major with a minor in Spanish, and Madison Brady will attend Sinclair Community College to obtain a degree in radiology.

Graisyn Hasenjager plans to attend Sinclair Community College to become a respiratory therapist, Zyhir Bobbitt plans to pursue a photography career, and Lily-Ann Hall will also follow a career in photography.

Austin Shoemaker plans to continue his work with S2K Excavating, Marissa Twentier is attending Edison State Community College for dental hygiene, and Mylee Jones plans to attend Edison State Community College to obtain an RN degree. She has also accepted an athletic scholarship to their softball program.

Caitlin Ridge will attend Sinclair Community College for radiology, Benjamin Iddings will attend the University of Cincinnati to obtain a degree in civil engineering, and Ean Shoup plans to attend Wright State University for videography and photography.

Titus Copp plans to attend Miami University to obtain his degree in engineering, Will Nothstine plans to attend Sinclair Community College for body mechanics, and Austin Ferris plans to enter the workforce.

Autumn Brazie plans to attend Cedarville University to obtain a degree in athletic training physical therapy. She was awarded the Presidential Scholarship. Rachel Beetley plans to enter the work force as a dog trainer, and Tristan Holland plans to take a gap year and then obtain a degree in psychology.

Spencer Tippie plans to attend Sinclair Community College for automation control technology, Divinity Wheelock plans to attend Sinclair as well and obtain a degree in business management, Karson Bechtel will be working for Balsbaugh Construction, and Kailey Schwartz will continue her work with Kroger and also become a dog trainer.

Ty Parsons is a current undergraduate student at the University of Kentucky with a dual major in Communications and Journalism. She’s also working towards receiving her certificate in Sports Communication, Media, and Promotion.
