On Monday, May 26, Memorial Day was commemorated at the Maple Hill Cemetery, located at 800 North Hyatt Street in Tipp City.

The program was put on by the Frank E. Robinson American Legion Post #586 based in Tipp City. Parade members gathered near Tipp City Veterans Memorial Park at the corner of Main Street and Hyatt and led a series of vehicles from Main down Hyatt to the cemetery.

The parade included two World War II and Korean War-era vehicles, veterans driving their own vehicles, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and the Tippecanoe High School band. City Councilman Doug Slagel drove his World War II-era jeep, “Mud Puppy.”
