Miami County Poultry Royalty Announced

Miami County Poultry Royalty sponsored by Fricker’s Restaurant 

The 2025 Miami County Poultry Royalty was crowned at Fricker’s Restaurant in Troy. The store manager, Jennifer Gates, generously sponsored the entire contest, including crowns, hats, sashes, prizes, and gift cards for all the participants. 

Eight poultry exhibitors entered the contest. They created a poultry-related poster and attended an interview with the judges. They were scored based on knowledge, poster, interview, and personality. This year's judges included Cindy Harris, one of the founding members of the poultry royalty contest, Jennifer Gates, Fricker’s manager, and Abby Hissong, 2017 Miami County Fair Queen and Ohio State Fair Queen Runner-Up. The judges agreed that all the contestants represented our county well and were full of knowledge and passion for their projects. 

The 2025 Royalty consists of King Garrett Petry, Queen Charlotte Norman, Prince Jackson Norman, and Princess Kynadie Wirrig. The royalty will help assist with poultry shows, fundraisers, educational events, and local parades.
