Downtown Tipp City board members and volunteers attend statewide training

Board members, staff, and volunteers from the Downtown Tipp City Partnership (DTCP) traveled to Van Wert, Ohio, on May 7 to attend a full-day training hosted by Heritage Ohio. The event featured educational sessions on revitalization strategies, economic vitality, and downtown preservation, with speakers including representatives from Main Street America, the national organization that guides and supports Main Street programs across the country.

The training included expert-led sessions focused on building vibrant, resilient downtown districts through strategic planning, preservation-based development, and authentic storytelling. These takeaways will directly support DTCP’s efforts to preserve downtown Tipp City’s historic charm while continuing to grow it as a welcoming destination for residents and visitors alike.

DTCP was proud to have such a strong presence at the event, showcasing the dedication of those working behind the scenes to promote, enhance, and preserve downtown Tipp City.

“Our board, staff, and volunteers are committed to ensuring Tipp City’s downtown remains the charming, vibrant place we all love,” said Tasha Weaver, Executive Director of DTCP. “I’m so proud of the team that represented us at this event. Their willingness to invest their time in professional development and community growth speaks volumes about the heart behind what we do.”

The training supports DTCP’s broader vision to strengthen the economic vitality and appeal of downtown Tipp City by collaborating with local partners, promoting small businesses, and preserving the city’s historic character.

DTCP extends its sincere thanks to Zach Snyder Flooring and Design LLC for generously sponsoring the transportation for the day, and to Heritage Ohio for hosting such an impactful and well-organized event. Attendees included: Tasha Weaver, Kelly Downing, Ashley Mauk, Chris Snider, Lisa Santucci, Andrea Hoover, Arthur Franklin, Heather Bailey, Dawn Kramer, Mark Davison, Mike McDermott, Christy Jacobs, Corey Vaughn, and Zach Snyder.
