Construction Corner: Wright Patt Bank Breaks Ground, 25-A Work Continues, and Funding secured for walking path at Windmere Park

Things are hopping in Tipp City, with numerous new and ongoing construction projects. We’re tracking many of the projects on our website, so check out the Tippecanoe Gazette website at www.tippgazette.com and click on the Construction Map for our latest updates, photos, and drone footage.

Wright Patt Credit Union breaks ground

Construction has started on the new Wright Patt Credit Union, to be located at the corner of 571 and Kinna Drive. The bank has been in the works for years, but it has now broken ground on the building and is clearing the lot and digging in anticipation of further construction. There is large construction equipment on site, along with concrete pipes, and the entire plot of land has been leveled and graded. Much more work has been completed even after we took these drone photos last week.

More construction along 571 and 25A as former flower shop used to stage equipment

And located nearby, the city is using the former flower shop location as a staging space for equipment, gravel, and trench boxes. Along 25-A, significant progress is being made as construction continues to move northward underneath the busy road.

Walking Path at Windmere Park

The City received grant funding from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to help fund a new walking path around the exterior of Windmere Park. Construction has been underway, and paving of the new pathway is expected to be completed today.
