Optimists learn of the importance of Needy Basket

Tom Klosterman (right), chairman of Needy Basket, spoke to the Tipp-Monroe Optimists on Saturday, October 4. He outlined the vital role Needy Basket plays in the Tipp City, Monroe, and Bethel Township areas by supplying food to 20 - 25 families per week. The all-volunteer organization relies on donations of food items to help families in need, as well as to support the school breakfast program and the Lunch on Us program during the summer. Debbie Jackson presents Tom with a donation from the Optimists.
