A Tipp City man pleaded guilty last week to felony gross sexual imposition involving sexual contact with a minor.
Willie Couch Jr., 72, of South First Street was charged by Tipp City police with seven felonies of gross sexual imposition for the alleged contact with two girls over a period of years. Two counts involved one girl. The remaining charges involved the second girl, according to police reports.
One of the charges was amended Jan. 17 in county Municipal Court to misdemeanor sexual imposition.
Couch pleaded no contest and was found guilty. He was sentenced to a $50 fine, court costs, a 30-day suspended jail term and was ordered to complete two years of probation.
Five of the charges were dismissed, while the remaining charge was sent to county Common Pleas Court for disposition.
Couch pleaded guilty Feb. 19 to the one count of gross sexual imposition.
Judge Robert Lindeman accepted the plea. A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing scheduled April 8.
As part of the plea deal, prosecutors agreed to stand silent at sentencing.
Couch remains free on a recognizance bond.
