Garnette R. Reynolds (age 91) entered into eternal rest at Randall Residence in Tipp City, Ohio on April 29, 2017. Garnette was born December 16, 1925 in Centerburg, Ohio to John and Nannie Hill Compton. Garnette was preceded in death by her husband Homer “Hoke” Reynolds, her seven brothers Arthur, Dewey, Carl, Lacey, Clinton, Ray, Ralph and three sisters, Ethel Wright, Mary Rine, and Edna Hayman. She is survived by nephewGary Rine of Sunbury, Beverly Compton (Ralph), Centerburg, and Barbara Rine (Carroll) Columbus, and several other nieces and nephews whom have always been dear to her heart.Garrnette worked as an assistant to Dr. Smith in Vandalia Ohio for several years until his death. After retiring, she and her husband Hoke became members of the Miami Shores Golf Club in Troy, Ohio, and enjoyed their time together until Hoke’s death. Garnette was always an avid golfer winning many awards when participating in tournaments, etc. She loved golfing with Cindy, Theresa, Jan, and other close friends. She was also a proud member of the Hole In One Club, having made six holes in one. For over Fifty years, Garrnette was a member of the Tipp City Chapter of the Eastern Star.Thank you to the staff at Randall Residence for their excellent care and devotion and to Heartland Hospice for providing her with amazing comfort.
