Tipp golf coach Scott Murray was pleased the girls held onto their 5th place state finish in Division II.
He said he was "not disappointed" that the team tallied 711 strokes, although he had hopes of a 690 two-day team total on the Ohio State University Gray Course.
The Red Devils stood in 5th place after Friday's play and maintained that spot by the end of the tournament on Saturday.
Senior Lindsey Murray, who placed second in the individual title, tallied a two-day score of 70-77 for 147, four strokes behind the winner from Lakota.
Other Tipp players included Tori Merrick (81-83) for 184, Erika Brownlee (82-83) for 185 and Sammi Rowland (96-99) for 195. Ali Chitwood shot a (102-99) total of 201.
Chaminade Julienne captured the D-II state title with a two-day total of 668.
Lindsey Murray is headed south 65 miles next season to play golf for the Xavier Musketeers.
Turning to cross country, the Red Devils swept the Central Buckeye Conference meet on Saturday.
Both the boys and girls easily won their respective 5K meets that included 12 teams.
The Tipp boys finished with 38 points to cruise past runner-up Springfield Shawnee while the girls posted 23 points to cruise past runner-up Tecumseh.
Mitch Poynter was runner-up with a time of 16:34. Daniel Frame (16:44) was fourth, Jay Schairbaum (16:49) was fifth, Evan Wharton (17:23) was 12th and Tim Andrews (17:24) was 15th.
Meanwhile, the girls were led by Allison Sinning who placed first with a time of 18:38. Other girls included Hailey Brumfield (18:31) in third place, Abby Halsey (19:52) for fourth place, Brinna Price (20:30) for sixth place and Emily Wolfe (21:06) for 9th place.
The Division II cross country district is slated Saturday, Oct. 19, at Troy High School.
In other Tippecanoe sports, the girls’ soccer and volleyball teams play D-II sectional games at the same time Thursday, Oct. 17.
The soccer team stands at 13-0-3 and hosts Chaminade Julienne at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Tipp City Park.
The volleyball squad stands at 8-14 after sweeping Stebbins in three straight games in the final regular season match.
Coached by Howard Garcia, the Red Devils play top-seeded Springfield Shawnee on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Senior Erin Jans recently broke the Red Devil career block record. Jans scored two blocks in the victory over the Indians, giving her 73 in her career and breaking the old record set by Tipp grad Gina Porto.
The boys’ soccer squad coached by Scott Downing is slated to play at home Wednesday, Oct, 16, against visiting Northwestern.
Finally, here's an update on the Division II tennis district played last Thursday at the ATP facility in Mason.
Tippecanoe senior Nefeli Supinger dropped a straight set singles match to a number one seed from Cincinnati and was eliminated.
Same result for the doubles team of Hailey Winblad and Taylor Sutton, who also dropped a straight set match to a team from Oakwood and was eliminated.
District competitors had to win two matches on Thursday in order to advance to the state finals this weekend in Columbus.
