Saturday, Oct 29

8:32 p.m. – Disturbance reported in the 6800 block of US Route 40. As deputy was enroute dispatch advised the victim had left residence on foot with two children. Deputy located the female and children near Big Mike’s Gas Station. Victim stated she and the two juvenile children were at the residence as she was preparing dinner. Stephen Doak became verbally aggressive towards her and began breaking items in the residence. When she didn’t participate in the verbal argument, Doak grabbed and pulled her to the ground. One of the kids stepped in and grabbed Doak in an effort to prevent him from striking the victim. Doak stood up and headed butted the kid. While talking to the three, deputy observed Doak driving by.   All three were returned to the residence where a domestic violence packet was completed. Another deputy was able to make contact with Doak who returned home and was able to provide his side of the story. Doak was placed into custody for two (2) counts of domestic violence and transported to the Miami County Incarceration Facility.

Sunday, Oct 30

8:29 p.m. – Suspicious person at Bethel High School, 7490 S. State Route 201. A teacher reported subjects had entered the construction area of the new school. Upon arrival, the deputy was unable to locate the vehicle in question. Currently there is a chain link fence around the school and no open gates or forced entry was observed. Running the vehicle registration, it returned with a Gearhart address in Troy. Deputy responded to the address and contact was made with a male and female. They stated Daniel Thompson was in possession of the vehicle. Contact was made with him and he responded to the residence along with two juvenile females. They said they knew why the deputy was there and gave their statements. They admitted going to the school and finding access through a gate. All three said they just wanted to check out the new school being built. One of the juveniles decided to take a hard hat from the scene. The deputy explained the severity of their crime and contact was made with the juvenile’s parents. Deputy contacted the county Prosecutor for possible charges. It was determined that all three would be charged with criminal trespassing.

Friday, Nov 4

11:49 p.m. – Traffic stop in the area of S. State Route 202 and Tipp Elizabeth Road.

Saturday, Nov 5

00:17 a.m. and 00:28 a.m. – Traffic stop in the area of S. State Route 202 and E. State Route 571.

00:48 a.m. – Traffic stop in the area of N. Second Street and US Route 40.

1:19 a.m. – Traffic stop in the area of US Route 40 and S. State Route 202.

10:32 a.m. – Theft not in progress in the 9100 block of S. State 201. A TV and DVD player were stolen from a storage unit.

2:20 p.m. – Theft not in progress in the 7500 block of Palmer Road. A snow blower had been stolen from an unlocked barn. Hand tools and small equipment near the blower had not been touched.

Sunday, Nov 6

8:30 p.m. – Theft not in progress in the 7100 block of Singer Road. A horse tack was stolen from a stable where the RP boards her horses.

Monday, Nov 7

9:35 p.m. – Telecommunications harassment in the 6900 block of Wonder Way. Male had called and sent numerous text messages to a female. She wanted him to stop. Deputy attempted to contact the male and had to leave a message advising him of the situation. He was told to stop communicating with the female and he was trespassed from her property.

9:35 p.m. – Telephone harassment in the 6900 block of Wonder Way. At the conclusion of the investigation a male was warned for trespassing and telecommunication harassment.

Tuesday, Nov 8

2:54 p.m. – Accident with no injury in the area of E. State Route 571 and S. State Route 201.

Wednesday, Nov 9

6:47 a.m. – Accident with no injury in the 7900 block of Pisgah Road.

5:10 p.m. – Suspicious person in the 9200 block of Shroyer Drive. RP requested documentation of a male and how he had behaved in a suspicious manner during a service call.

9:59 a.m. – Assist squad in the 7000 block of S. Country Road 25A.

1:00 p.m. – Accident with no injury in the 3200 block of S. County Road 25A.

Saturday, Nov 5

00:59 a.m. – Traffic stop for equipment violation in the area of Winston Lane and W. Kessler Cowlesville Road. Passenger was intoxicated, found to be in possession of alcohol and was under the age of 21. Passenger was cited and released. Driver was given a warning for the equipment violation.

2:21 p.m. – Civil dispute in the 7000 block of S. Country Road 25A. Complainant called to report a past employee was in the business claiming he was owed past paychecks for working. The Complainant advised he did not re-hire this person after a past incident. The ex-employee claimed he was in fact re-hired and had paychecks owed to him. All parties were advised this was a civil matter and they needed to contact their attorneys regarding this incident. Complainant request the ex-employee be trespassed from the business.

Wednesday, Nov 9

6:03 p.m. – Theft not in progress reported in the 600 block of Kerr Road. No further details available.
