Friday, February 17

3:42 p.m. – Bad check reported in the 1100 block of Dayton Brandt Road. 

Saturday, February 18

1:18 p.m. – Accident with injury in the area of US Route 40 and S. State Route 202

Sunday, February 19

2:08 a.m. – Disturbance reported in the 8100 block of S. State Route 202.  Female called dispatch to report she was in a physical fight with her husband.  After deputy arrived at the residence the female refused to be cooperative.  She would only state her husband was “extremely wasted”.  Female advised her husband was currently on probation through Miami County and didn’t want to get him into trouble.  Deputy spent several minutes attempting to get the female to explain what had happened but continued to be uncooperative; so deputy left the residence. 

4:11 a.m. – Disturbance reported in the 8100 block of S. State Route 202.  This is a second time deputies had been dispatched to the residence.  Female called dispatch stating her husband had returned home and felt unsafe and then disconnected from dispatch.  Deputies arrived and spoke with the female about the situation.  When asked if the male was in the residence, she was hesitant to answer.  Deputies went inside and looked around the first floor but was unable to locate him.  Returning back outside to speak with the female she was informed that due to the visible injuries they would be filing charges on him.  After speaking with her a few minutes, she admitted the male could be found upstairs.    Deputy started yelling the male’s name and he eventually appeared with his hands up.  Jason Bailey was placed under arrest for domestic violence. Bailey is currently on probation for domestic violence through Miami County.  Due to the prior conviction, he was charged and incarcerated for felony domestic.    The female refused to fill out a written statement but did give the deputy a verbal one.  Deputy worked through the domestic packet with the female and she signed the appropriate pages.  She still remained uncooperative and would not allow pictures of her injuries to be taken.  Deputy attempted to get her medical help for her injuries but she also refused this help. 

11:37 a.m. – Solicitors reported in the 8100 block of US Route 40.  RP wanted to alert the MCSO in case there were thefts in the area.  Deputy patrolled the area and was unable to locate the late model, grey Ford single cab pickup truck. 

8:54 p.m. – Accident with no injury in the 6800 block of S. State Route 202

Tuesday, February 21

6:59 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle reported in the 9700 block of Bellefontaine Road.  RP reported a suspicious vehicle had pulled into his driveway and then turning its head lights off.  The vehicle would sit in the driveway for a few minutes and then leave.  A neighbor told the RP this has been happening lately.  The RP was encouraged to call 911 if the vehicle was spotted. 

7:26 a.m. – Accident with no injury in the area of S. State Route 202 and Gibson Drive. 

11:18 a.m.- Identify theft reported in the 2800 block of US Route 40.  Victim stated his identify was used outside of Ohio. 

Wednesday, February 22

3:28 – Fraud reported in the 2400 block of S. Dayton Brandt Road.  Victim received a bill in the mail stating she had taken a loan out for $425.00.  Victim said she did not take out the loan and had never heard of the company.  The loan had been sent to collections but the suspect paid off the loan through the collection agency.  Her bank advised she get a report to document this incident. 

8:25 p.m. – Theft not in progress reported in the 6700 block of Bethelville Dr.  Deputy spoke with victim over the phone.  He is currently out of town and wanted to report his credit card information had been used twice on this day.  Once in Blue Ash and again in Cincinnati.  Both attempts were made at Kroger Stores.  Victim was advised the crime was committed outside of the MCSO jurisdiction he would have to file a report with the local law enforcements in the listed cities. 

Thursday, February 23

6:42 p.m. – Fraud reported in the 8000 block of Wildcat Road.  RP advised when she attempted to e-file her taxes she was advised someone had already filed taxes using her social security number.  RP was advised to contact the IRS for an investigation. 

Friday, February 24

2:38 a.m. – Traffic stop in the area of S. State Route 202 and Tipp Elizabeth Road.  At the conclusions of the traffic stop, the registered owner Anthony Wood was cited for Driving Under Suspension. 

Monroe Township

Saturday, February 18

4:38 p.m. – Theft not in progress in 3800 of Tipp Cowlesville Road.  Family had a surveillance video of an individual who had been in their barn multiple times Friday night.  This person appeared to be removing items from the barn.  RP advised they had discovered many items missing from this location and are in the process of putting together a list of stolen property.  Report noted there was a possible suspect in this incident. 

Sunday, February 19

2:38 p.m. – Liquor violation reported in the 5200 block of David Drive.  Deputy responded to the TCPD in reference to a female juvenile who had been purchasing alcohol from an individual she attends school with.  After further discussion with the juvenile and her mother, the female was transported to an area hospital for a voluntary evaluation. 

Wednesday, February 22

12:35 p.m. – Identify theft reported in the 300 block of Michaels Road.  An unknown person fraudulently opened a credit account in the RP’s recently deceased husband’s name.  The information RP received in the mail advised the address where the account was obtained was in Orlando, FL.  There was a purchase made with the line of credit by someone at the Harrisburg Well Flooring store in Pennsylvania for the about of $3500.  RP had the credit card and bill in her possession.  Report taken and she was advised to contact the involved credit company. 

6:38 p.m. – Accident with injury reported in the 6900 block of Troy Frederick Road. Upon deputy’s arrival, Tipp City medics were providing aid to a female passenger who had been thrown off an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). The female was transported by care flight to Miami Valley Hospital for her injuries.  The male driver was uninjured.
