Pamela Jesson Jones, age 71, of Upper Arlington, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. She was born November 10, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio to the late James & Fran Jesson.
Pamela completed her undergrad work at Bowling Green State University and received her masters degree in education from Wright State University. She was a teacher for 30 years, she spent a majority of her career teaching at Brookpark Middle School in Grove City and as substitute teacher at Hastings Middle School in Upper Arlington. Pamela was a 1964 graduate of Upper Arlington High School. She was a member of the Central Ohio Teachers Association, Welsh Society of Central Ohio, Bowling Green State University alumni and Wright State alumni.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Evan H. Jones; step-children, Emily (Steve) Mowry, Caitlin Jones and Adam Jones; grandchildren: The A-Team, Anthony, Anna and Avery Mowry; sister, Lynne (Keith) Casey; sister-in-law, Judith (Lowell) Kreeger; her beloved poodle, Lucy; cousins and many friends. Evan is very thankful for the last 25 years of love and friendship he and Pamela shared, especially the many OSU football games, both home and away, including four National Championship games.
A special thanks goes to The Zangmeister Cancer Center and Dr. Jeanna Knoble for all the love and care they gave to Pamela and Evan. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 4-6pm at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221.
