66, of Tipp City died at 9:47 p.m. Saturday December 24, 2016 surrounded by his family at the Ohio Hospice Unit of Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born August 13, 1950 to the late William E. and Helen (Pearce) Anthony. He married Wanda Quillen on March 1, 1977 in Troy and she survives.
Other survivors include four sons, David Baumaster of Tipp City, Rob (Rosalee) Cooper of Troy, Craig Arnold of New Jersey, Chad Cooper of Ft. Loramie; a daughter Melissa (Tracey) Ahrens Pemerton of Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Sheila Anthony of Piqua, Barbara Franke of Florida; a brother, Ronny Bennett of Columbus; and his best friend and great great nephew Camden Lovejoy. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Anthony, Russell Anthony; a sister, Betty Mae Davis; and his favorite companion, his dog Nikki.
Mr. Anthony attended Piqua City Schools. He went on to become a professional painter for over 48 years. He was an avid “snacker”, keeping a cabinet of snacks always stocked. He was also a devoted animal lover who would adopt any animal that needed a loving home
Private services are being provided at the convenience of the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
