The Rusty Harden Art Studio is launching a satellite gallery in the Professional Partners Group building in downtown Tipp City. Partners of the PPG are Andy Davidson, Rick Mains, Jack Evans and Stan Evans. The rotating gallery features a different professional artist every three months, with watercolor artist Marie Mack being the first exhibiting artist. Marie Mack creates a harmony of bright colors that shows the beauty of the wildlife she often paints. Her works have been exhibited in numerous venues such as the Richmond Art Museum in Indiana, Pump House in Chillicothe and the Rusty Harden Art Studio. Marie Mack also serves as the liaison between the venue and the artists.
Before the studio’s founding in 2015, owner Rusty Harden has supported Tipp City’s growth into a vibrant community of artists who continue to develop and branch out. Her studio has become a center for artistic instruction and improvement with a wide range of classes for all ages, skill levels, and media. In addition, the venue hosts many lively events including art parties, group events, and fundraisers for charities. The Rusty Harden Art Studio’s first and foremost priority is to reach out and enrich individuals’ lives with art, no matter the age or experience.
The PPG gallery is located at 115 S. Tippecanoe Drive and is open from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday. The Rusty Harden Art Studio is at 120A W Broadway in Tipp City and is open from 12:30 to 5pm, Tuesday and 10:00 to 5:00 Wednesday through Saturday.
